Forrest Avery Lee Smith age 23, of Norman, formerly of Lexington, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 following a motorcycle accident. He was born on December 21, 1994 in Oklahoma City. Forrest was the oldest of seven children born to Heather Noel (Dickson) and Aaron Lee Smith. Forrest grew up living in the country Southeast of Lexington. He attended Lexington Schools and graduated with the class of 2013. While in high school he enjoyed running cross country and working. For several years he worked at Joe’s Pizza in Purcell and later worked at Mazzio’s Pizza where he was the manager for a short time.

Forrest attended two years of college at OSU-OKC and was currently working as monitor and as a pharmacy tech at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed being in the outdoors and hiking. He liked hiking in Colorado, he enjoyed visiting his uncle in Alaska and hiking there, and he enjoyed hiking Mt. Scott in the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma. He will be remembered as a born leader and as a wonderful big brother to his younger siblings. He loved life and was looking forward to his further adventures. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by:

Parents, Heather and Aaron Smith of Lexington,

Maternal grandparents, Steve and Vickie Dickson of Siloam Springs, AR.

Paternal grandmother, Judy Smith of OKC;

Two brothers, Sam Smith and Norman,

Nicholas Smith of Lexington,

Five sisters, Skylee Mills of Shawnee,

Alezandria, Shelby, Shea, and Meagan Smith of Lexington.

Aunts and Uncles; Courtney and Chris Taylor of Jenkins, OK,

Jeffrey Dickson of Anchorage, AK,

Chris and Kim Jones of Hesperia, CA.

Several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Burial will be at the Corbett Cemetery, east of Lexington.
