Charles F. Fritz, 73, of 26th Street, Northampton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Monday afternoon in his home. He was the husband of Myrtle H. (Mackey) Fritz since February 19, 1966. Born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late LeRoy H. and Thelma P. (Batdorf) Fritz.

Charles was employed as a retail sales manager of the former Thom McAn Shoes, Allentown, and later, Macy's Department Store for over 38 years, retiring in 2009. He was a 1963 graduate of Pottsville High School. Over the years he enjoyed boating, water skiing, fishing, and spending time at Beltzville Lake.

Survivors: Wife, Myrtle. Daughter, Lori A. wife of David Beers, Jr. of Whitehall. Son, Jeffrey C. and fiancée, Heather S. Trzaska of Emmaus. 6 grandchildren, Alexander, Andrew, Dakota, McKenzie, Ireland, and Zachary. Sister, Suzanne Hipp of Pine Grove. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Jennifer M. Rota in 2008, and a brother, David L.

Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 9:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Entombment, Assumption BVM Mausoleum, Cherryville Road, Northampton.
