"Joan C. Cash, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her home.
Born August 18, 1933, in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Davie) McCoy.
Her husband of 31 years, James D. Cash, passed away April 1, 1992.
She retired from the former J.T. Baker Chemical Company. Previously, she worked for Horton Hospital and Lincoln Hospital.
Joan graduated from NY Community College.
She enjoyed reading, art and serving her God.
Joan was a member of Bethlehem Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Carlton E. Cash, of Easton and Matthew Cash, of Dayton, OH; a daughter, Courtenay Cash-Phillips, of Easton; two brothers, Bernard McCoy, of Bronx, NY and Donnie McCoy, of Yardley, PA; a sister, Sheila Carson, of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah, Matthew, Michael, C.J., Carrisa and Bianca and two great-grandchildren, Ezra and Hilkiah. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Tommy McCoy and two sisters, Gladys Overton and Linda Lewis.
Services will be held at 11am Thursday in Bethlehem Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1175 Macada Road, Bethlehem, PA. Call Thursday 10-11am in the church. Burial will be in Schuylkill Haven Union Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough."
