JERRY WALTON, age 69, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Hospice Care Center of Lexington, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 5, 1942, to the late Charles and Lula Caldwell Walton, he was a jeweler for Chase Jewelry and member of the Knights of Columbus and DeKalb Lodge.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Margaret Walton; a brother, Charles Walton; and a sister, Rose Marie Walton. He is survived by: three sons, Jay (Melissa) Walton, Matthew Walton and Kursten (Paula) Walton, all of Maysville; three daughters, Katrina (Matt) Stahl, Tawnya (Roy) East and Vanessa (Chuck) Johnson, all of Villa Hills; three brothers, Roy (Mary) Walton, of Edgewood, Bob (Suiko) Walton, of Lakewood, California, and Butch (Debbie) Walton, of California, Kentucky; and 17 grandchildren, Joshua Walton, Chase Walton, Tyler Walton, David Walton, Zaida Walton, Bryan Walton, Jayden Walton, Camden Walton, James Stahl, Ashley Stahl, Caroline Stahl, Devin East, Conner East, Sydney East, Riley East, Reid Johnson and Clay Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, in Maysville, by Father Joseph Gallenstein, with visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Manchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
