Connie Mae Pierson-Fisher was born in Oklahoma City, OK on August 30, 1932 to Edward Anthony Tibey and Mary Elizabeth (Muriel) Schmidt-Tibey. Her father was in the Air Force so she traveled a lot as a small child. She spent most of her childhood with her beloved grandparents George and Anna Schmidt. Connie was proud to be a senior of the last graduating class of Saint Joseph Catholic School in downtown Oklahoma City. Connie married Reese Pierson.

Connie’s life was full of many accomplishments. She sailed on the Queen Elizabeth II and flew back on the Concord where she was allowed to go into the cockpit. She enjoyed flying her Mooney Airplane and being an active member of the 99’s. Connie was an active member of EWI, Executive Women International and was a very active member of the Desk and Derrick Club of Oklahoma City and was soon the Regional Director.

Connie was perhaps best known for her friendly spirit and her servant’s heart. She was able to be a very active member since the 1970’s of Saint John the Baptist Church. She served in many different capacities most recent of which was Mass Coordinator and the Liturgy Board Chair. Her beautiful spirit caught the heart of Buster Eugene Fisher and they married on April 14, 2012. Connie was preceded in death by her parents Edward Anthony and Mary Elizabeth Tibey, her grandparents George and Anna Schmidt, and Reese Pierson.

She is survived by her husband Buster Eugene Fisher and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Honor her for all that her hands have done and let her work bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:31

Rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, at Baggerley Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 16 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, OK.
