Theodore James “Ted” Moore, age 64, of Sweet Springs, died Monday, May 14, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to family choice.

In addition to his wife, Terry; he is survived by two daughters, Tracey Jolene Cochran and husband Joshua, and Tina Diane Bredehoeft and fiancé Jon McKeage, all of Sweet Springs; four grandchildren: Thaddeus and Roman Cochran, and Arabella and Alizabeth Bredehoeft; three sisters: Dena McMillin and husband Don of Sedalia, Linda Zaragoza and Susan Moore, both of Raytown; two brothers, Stephen Moore and wife Jennifer of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Paul Moore of Harrisburg; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Andrew Moore and Mary Catherine Alflen Moore; and one sister, Donna Sua.

Theodore James “Ted” Moore, 64, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs with William W. Harlow officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Born May 3, 1954, in Kansas City, KS, he was the son of the late Charles Andrew Moore and Mary Catherine Alflen Moore. Ted lived in Sweet Springs most of his life and was a 1972 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. On February 23, 1974, he married Terry Diane Trautman, who survives of the home. Ted worked as a truck driver for nearly 40 years with the teamsters.
