“Missy”, as she was affectionately known, worked as a painter for Bob Rice Reality Company for nine years. She also worked for Mr. Alex LaBlanc as a painting supervisor. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her animals. She was a very strong woman and hard-worker, who loved her family and friends dearly.
Melissa leaves to cherish her life her partner of 17 years, Jimmy Moye; one sister, Teresa (Curtis) Ogle of Seymour, Tennessee; brother, Nathan Ogle; nieces: Amando Porton, Pamela Sharp, Tori Jones, Adelynn Crowe; nephews, Tripp Olson and Tyler Sharp, all of Tennessee; stepchildren: Jeanine Bowman, Kantrea Moye, Jimmy Moye, and a host of cousins and friends, all whom will miss her dearly.
Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3 PM at Bostick Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. Interment following funeral service at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 1101 Buckner Road, Columbia, SC 29203.
