CARRIE MARIE LINE, 81, of 425 Harp Rd., Hagerstown, died at the Washington County Hospital Monday. Born in Pleasant Valley, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Swope Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Charles Line.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown.
She is survived by three daughters, Thelma M. Schaffer, Bradenton, Fl.; Mrs. C. Ruth Drury, Hagerstown; and Ellen L. Kennedy, Conshohoken, Pa.; three sons, Robert L. Line, Washington, DC; and George Raymond Line and Ralph E. Line, both of Hagerstown; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro. Burial was at Funkstown Cemetery.
