Lloyd D. Jackson, 87, of Indianapolis, died at 3:54 a.m. May 10, 2018, at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis.

Lloyd was born May 12, 1930, in Holton, Indiana, the son of the late Eldon and Goldah Little Jackson.

He married H. JoAn Jackson on August 28, 1987; she preceded him in death February 2, 2013.

He grew up on a farm and graduated from Holton High School in 1948.

Lloyd owned his own farm in Jennings County from 1962-1973 and retired from Cummins Engine Co. as a material planner.

The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be 4 p.m. until the time of service Monday.

Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.

Survivors include his son, Lynn(Karen)Jackson; daughter, Teresa Miller; stepchildren, Michael Strahl, Tony(Kelly)Strahl and Darrell Strahl; brothers, Franklin(Sharon)Jackson, Ethan (Joyce)Jackson and Rollin(Juanita)Jackson; a sister, Beth Taylor; and three grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAn; brother, Larry Jackson; and sisters, Janet Jackson, Beverly McNeelan and Winifred Smith.
