FORT WORTH--Maxine Jones Morgan of Fort Worth passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 3 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas. Maxine was born in Shreveport, La., on March 4, 1921. She was a graduate of Paschal High School and worked for Neiman Marcus in the cosmetics department. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Hattie Peterson; and her grandson, Steven Newman. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Newman, and son, Mike Jones.
