Noel Gene Reynolds, 71, husband of Karen, passed away Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Gene was born in 1947 in Bee Lick, Kentucky to the late Corvin C.D. and Jalie (Taylor) Reynolds.
Gene bravely served his Country in Vietnam, receiving the Purple Heart. Upon returning home, he began his plumbing career, earning the affectionate nickname, Leaky.
Gene loved racing cars, Hamm radio (KG4BXD), basketball and trying to get a rise out of his friends on Facebook. But more than anything he loved people and made friends everywhere he went. He was an incredible husband, father, friend, and neighbor who will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife: Karen (Belcher) Reynolds, his daughter: Stephanie (Lloyd) Russell, his son: Greg (Elizabeth) Reynolds, and a special miniature poodle, Opie.
He is also survived by his mother: Jalie Stephens; his sister: Maetta Dees, and a host of other family, friends.
Gene was preceded by his father: Corvin C.D. Reynolds, his brother: Lawrence Alvie Reynolds.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Cemetery with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating.
