Arthur Irwin Frank, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Deerfield Skilled Nursing Center. Arthur will continue to be loved and cherished for the loving, funny, intelligent man he was.

Arthur was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Herbert and Elizabeth Glass Frank. He was an only child and grew up in a Jewish family. Within the past few years, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He achieved a Bachelors Degree from Brooklyn College and later graduated, receiving his M.B.A. from New York University. Arthur demonstrated a strong work ethic, a stellar sense of humor, and a love of the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Knicks.

He was a loving husband to Pearl Marie Foreman Frank for 43 years. Arthur and Pearl created many happy memories together including: traveling the world, attending many Broadway shows, visiting museums and parks, playing tennis, walking hand in hand, observing beautiful scenery, and listening to music. Arthur and Pearl were married for 10 years before adopting two children, Hilary and Matthew. He was a wonderful and proud father.

He worked as an Executive Vice President at an executive recruiting firm in Newark, NJ. Upon retiring, Arthur started his own business where he helped many individuals obtain jobs and fine tune their resumes to "stand out". He was a published coauthor/contributor in various resume publications.

Arthur was a member of: Alumni of NYU, Blue Ridge Literacy Council, The Association of Job Search Trainers, PARW Professionals in the Career Management, Member of Career Masters Institute-Dedicated to Professionals in the Careers Management, Former member of the Greater Oldsmar Chamber of Commerce, Former Vice President and Member of the Oldsmar Chapter of Optimists International, Former Vice President, Board Member and Chapter President of NTSA (National Technical Services Association).

When Arthur and his wife relocated to Flat Rock, NC, he spent most of his time outdoors with a wide brimmed hat, perfecting his garden, hitting some balls (golfing), going on long walks, and reading one of many books in the sunroom. He was active in the community and gave his time volunteering reading to the blind. Arthur loved nature and animals.

Some of his most special times were traveling the world with his wife by his side. He enjoyed seeing historical sites and visiting new places. Arthur had a passion for education and learning. He was a featured guest speaker providing lectures at various colleges, business associations, and high schools regarding interview strategies, creating resumes, and honing job skills. Arthur was a giving and kind individual who gave to multiple charities and continually gave in time, love, and provisions to his family.

His wife and children have many happy memories to cherish and will miss him dearly. See you in heaven, Art.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pearl Marie Foreman Frank; a son, Matthew Frank; a daughter, Hilary Frank.

A graveside service for Mr. Frank will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher with Reverend Tonya Hill officiating.
