Harold Dane “Hal” Wilkerson, 85, of Georgetown, Texas passed away on May 10, 2018.
He was born on October 31, 1932 in Brownwood, Texas to parents Roscoe Conklin and Alvarine (Hardcastle) Wilkerson. Harold attended Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. Harold married Bobbie Jo Hampton on May 12, 2001 in Hurst, Texas.
He served as Assistant Director at the University of North Texas in Denton. Harold was a member of First Baptist Church Georgetown.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Simons; brothers: Lonnie Wilkerson and Leroy Wilkerson; son, Leslie Wilkerson.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Wilkerson of Georgetown, Texas; daughter, Laurie Scott and husband Mark of Trinidad, Texas; son, Larry Wilkerson of Haltom City, Texas; step-sons: Jeff Hampton and wife Heather of Bridgeport, Texas, Greg Hampton and wife Tera of Georgetown, Texas; grandsons: Ryder Hogle, Kale Hogle, Justin Wilkerson; granddaughters: Darby Hogle, LaRee Wilkerson, Katie Wilkerson, Megan Wilkerson; step-granddaughters: Miki Bontrager, Jessi House, Christi Hampton, Madison Browning, Macey Hampton, McCall Hampton; 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Georgetown on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with 1:00 P.M. visitation prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas.
