Russell Bailey Campbell, of Damascus, Arkansas, at the age of 19, joined his grandmother Ida Mae Linam and grandfather Russell Campbell in death, on May 13th, 2018.

Russ was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas to his parents Todd Campbell of Conway, and Cynthia Campbell of Damascus on June 25th, 1998. Russell is also survived by his brother Riley Weston Campbell of Damascus. Russell was also survived by grandparents: Robert Linam of Vilonia, Linda McDaniel of Conway, and James McDaniel of Conway; Uncle Bob and Mama Jess Linam of Jacksonville; Uncle Shawn and Auntie Penny Campbell of Conway; Uncles Jim and Eric McDaniel and Chad Rogers.

To his cousins he was always larger than life and full of adventure and love. Together they will mourn him as follows: Madalyn Kelley, spouse Jaylee Kelley, of Rogers, and their son Payton Hayes. Ethan Linam of Pea Ridge. Hunter Linam of Jacksonville, and Archer Linam of Jacksonville. Audrey Plath, her daughter Stella Campbell, and Walker Plath of California. Lauren McDaniel, and her daughter Adalyn McDaniel of North Little Rock. Russ will be mourned with love by many other extended family members as well and countless friends.

Russell was loved by all who met him. Russell loved family, friends, and being a cowboy doing rodeo. Russ was also an avid hunter, and a true lover of all things the outdoors.

In 2014 he along with his high school baseball team won the state championship. In 2015, 2016 he qualified to attend the National High School Rodeo Finals in Wyoming. In 2017 Russell was awarded best Bronc Rider in Arkansas. He attended Neo University in Oklahoma after graduating from Southside High School in 2016. In the summer of 2017, Russ decided to peruse his dreams of travel and rodeo full time.

Russell was baptized in 2014 as a member of the Bee Branch Baptist Church. Russell was truly dedicated to his faith and gave thanks for all his accomplishments to God.

Russell Bailey Campbell was killed the morning of May 13th in Yellville, AR. in a car accident as he was accompanying his friend Tyler Smith home from what would be their final ride in a rodeo.

Funeral Arrangements will be made by Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR. The Memorial Service will be held at Bee Branch Baptist Church, 11500 HWY 65 S, Bee Branch, AR 72013 at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16th with Brother Jim Brock officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make a donation to a scholarship fund in honor of Russell to continue his brother Riley's education and pursuit of his dreams. The fund has been set up with Arvest Bank.
