MOUNT HOPE — WILKINSON – Paul, 55, Mount Hope, died July 3, 2014, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital awaiting a heart and kidney transplant. Born Nov. 8, 1958, in Johnstown, son of Arthur “Skinny” and Olive (Gramling) Wilkinson. Preceded in death by parents; beloved daughter, Kerri Lynn Wilkinson, who died June 28, 2012; and in-laws, William and Martha (Elersic) Everhart. Survived by loving wife of 36 years, Christine (Everhart) Wilkinson, whom he married June 23, 1978; son, Randy, married to Jennifer Zinza, Wilmore; grandson, Brady Wilkinson; sisters, Joan, wife of Stewart Miller, Mount Hope; Karen Roberts, Mount Hope; Nancy, wife of Robert Smay, Sidman; and Connie, wife of Gerald Weyandt, South Fork; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; also faithful dog, Bailey.

Paul was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church and Sandy Run Hunting & Fishing Club. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. Viewing also will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Hope United Methodist Church, Mount Hope, the Rev. Joseph Stains, officiating. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. Although Paul himself did not receive the gift of life, he made a pledge for life by being an organ and tissue donor.
