Dana E. wheeler of Torrington died Monday after a long illness. He was born in Litchfield, a son of Austin and Harriet [Barley] Wheeler. He was a graduate of Litchfield High School. For about 35 years he was employed by the Collins Co. until his retirement in 1949 because of ill health.
Mr. Wheeler was a past master of Village Lodge, F and AM and was a member of Cawasa Grange.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Grace Noe Wheeler and a daughter, Mrs. Harriet G. Italia of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
