Lucille Dean, aged 95, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Dallas, TX. She was born on March 27, 1923 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Benjamin F. Hicks and Mary Anne Easley. Lucille was raised in McAlester, Oklahoma and graduated from McAlester High School in 1943. She married Robert E. Dean in 1953 and the couple had one child. She was a daycare worker at Kinder Care where she worked for 30 years. In her spare time Lucille enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family (especially on holidays) and traveling. The crowning glory of her travels was her trip to Israel in 1996. Mrs. Dean’s family and friends will remember her as a special person who treated everyone with respect and always had a smile on her face.

She is preceded in death by: Benjamin Hicks (Father), Mary Anne Hicks (Mother), Robert Dean (Husband), Grayson Dean (Great Grandson), and her brother Rylie Hicks. Mrs. Dean is survived by: Robert Dean Jr. (son) and his wife Alice Dean. Granddaughters: Stephanie Dean, Lindsey Reina, Megan Powers, Paige Dean, Hanh Haley Tran, Christella Rubio, and Tina Perez. Grandsons: Darryl Dean, Trevor Dean, and Frankie Rodriguez. Great Granddaughters: McKenzie Dean, Shelbie Reina, Eremina Powers, Vanessa Rubio, and Illiana Rubio. Great Grandsons: Tyler Dean, Christian De La Cruz, Wesley Reina, Arion Powers, Troy Benavides, Nickolai Dean, and Emiliano Morales.
