Collins, Janice Rena, - 59, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born in Bridgeton to the late George Blackman, Sr. and Natoma Ramsey. She worked at Woodbine Developmental Center. She enjoyed reading, cooking, old movies, Law & Order, and anything to do with forensics. She loved taking care of children and caring for others. Janice is survived by her husband, Charles Collins; her children, LaQuwanna Blackman, Rashad Blackman (Stacia), TyQuwan Collins, and Ah-Zjianti Blackman; her siblings, George W. Blackman, Jr. (Francesca), Lorenzo Shockley, Cortinzia Witcher (Ian), and Michelle Pascual (Kevin); and her six grandchildren, Robert Blackman, AlSharif Blackman, Rashad Blackman, Jr., Londyn Collins, TyQuwan Collins, Jr., and Brooklyn Collins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Addie Mae Blackman and her brother, Charles Shockley. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church, 2209 Route 9 South, Whitesboro, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
