Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, May 15, at Southerland Funeral Chapel. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Melvin was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Parkerson Baptist Church, attended Bethel Baptist Church, and was a 1976 graduate of Dodge County High School. He was a machine mechanic for Jac Arts in Cochran for over 21 years, loved tending to his chickens, playing cards with family and friends, listening to music, and most of all playing with his grandkids, who were the light of his life.
The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, May 14.
