Bloomington Cemetery is now Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. I'm told his burial is not listed despite death records stating his burial is here.

Millard's father was Christopher Louis Aygarn, and his mother was Isabell Celia Mitchell Aygarn.

Pontiac, Ill. —Millard Aygarn, son of C. L. Aygarn, the grain dealer of this city, who has been attending school at Jewell College at Jewell, Ia., had a narrow escape with his life last Monday when that institution was totally destroyed by fire. He lost all his clothing and other effects, and had a very close call.

In the 1920 census, Christian is living with his wife, Pearl Spaid Aygarn and his son Villas in Bloomington, Illinois. Pearl's brother, Walter Spaid was in the household as well.


Christian also had a brother named Martin, born about 1880, who was taking care of their father and living in Manlius in LaSalle County, Illinois in the 1910 census. Their mother had died in 1902 at age 50.
