Also surviving are two daughters: Debra A. Pippin, Weaver, AL, and Joyce L. Foster, Columbus, NE; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Roma Jean Witherell; and a stepbrother, Richard Watt.
A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served during the Korean War. He worked for the Lima Ford Engine Plant for 30 years retiring in 1996. He loved to search for treasure with his metal detector.
Burial of cremains will be held privately at a later date in the Elida Greenlawn Cemetery.
