Gordon Marshall Bell, 1929 - 2015. He was born July 30, 1929 in Yuma, AZ and passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015 at the age of 86.

Gordon served in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He moved to San Diego when he was 14, and had a successful business in Santee, CA for 45 years. Gordon enjoyed golfing with his friends, fishing, and traveling. He was a faithful supporter of various charities in San Diego, including the Grossmont Hospital Foundation since its inception 30 years ago; he and wife, Dolores, were awarded the 2015 Heart of Gold Award at the foundation's 30th Anniversary Gala in November to recognize their continuous support.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dolores; daughters, Karen Guimares, Glenda Haydel, and Robin Hollifield; and sons, James Lang and Philip Lang; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m., Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will then be at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
