North Ridgeville- Mrs. Carlotta Bedell, 83, who had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, 34904 Center Ridge Rd. the past five years, died yesterday at 8 p.m. in Holly Terrace Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Bedell was born in Grayville, Ill. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church, Lorain. Her husband, Charles C. Bedell, died Jan. 9, 1959.
Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she lived are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Lois) Graham, Amherst and Mrs. Paul (Marie) Balog, North Ridgeville; two sons, Charles A. of Oberlin and Walter F., of Columbus; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred Rettig, Fredonia, Kan.
Friends will be received at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst after 7 p.m. today.
The Rev. James Parr will officiate at a funeral service tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial park.
