Stephen Thomas Warren October 14th 1949- May 11th 2018. Today we lost a man who was many things to many people. First off he was the father of three beautiful daughters Stephanie Lynn, Jennifer Kimberly, and Stacey Marie. He was a Papa to two grandsons, and four granddaughters Michaela Elisabeth, Scarlett Katherine, Jaymie Rae-Lynn and Daykota Rayne. He was married to Linda Warren for 37 years and the son in law of Harold and Madonna Dial. He was the son of Frank Warren (Vice President of the Teamsters Union in Indianapolis) and Ruby Warren a loving mother and grandmother. Stephen lost his brothers John and Greg Warren and his Beloved Sister Rosemary McKeighen He is survived by a sister Helen Campbell from Fort Wayne Indiana. Stephen is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Thank you for your service Dad. After coming home from the war he met my mother Linda. Stephen went to trade school where he earned his CDL license and became a truck driver for Kraft Foods. As I am writing this I am looking at his five year ring for safe driving. After leaving Kraft he began working as head of Maintenance at Saint Matthews Catholic School during my years of attending. After making a decision to leave the school started his final job as a BSW at the U of I. Dad retired from this job after many years, but being the man he was never stopped helping everyone around him. You would never find him just sitting around. His life mission seemed to be to help others. Through all the mistakes and wins he was just dad to me. In 2006 he met my step mother Tammy Warren, became a son in law to Perry Warner, a father to Baron Gouty and a Papa to his three children. Having the big heart he always did he became an honorary grandfather to many more. In honor of his memory any donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
With Love Always
I love you more….
