Linda Fay Zachary, born on March 11, 1956, loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend was called home on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving father, Donald Zachary.
Linda is survived by her cherished daughter, Leslie Canniff, mother and best friend, Sylvia Zachary, sisters, Donna Houser and Barbara Mellorm brothers-in-law, Michael Houser and Keith Mellor, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Linda spent her entire life in Albuquerque and loved her home town, as well as the Phoenix area. Linda went to Eubank Elementary School, Grant Middle School and Manzano High School. Linda followed the Zachary family into the Indian jewelry business, spending most of her career until retirement at Indian Jewelers' Supply Company. Linda was a hard worker, but her family and friends dominated her everyday life.
Linda was a devoted mother to Leslie, a supportive and loving caregiver for her father and mother and a friend to one and all. Linda always had a good word to say about everyone she encountered and will be remembered as a gentle soul who was loved by all who knew her.
Her wishes were to have no formal services but to join her father in Rio Verde, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Linda's name, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or donate on line at www.stjude.org.
