Jacqueline Schaefer Carey Banks, age 24, of Mt. Carmel, Ill., formerly of St. Philip, Ind., died Thursday at her home in Mt. Carmel.

Jacqueline was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Aaron Banks; her mother, Gina Carey of Evansville and her father Jonathan Carey; sisters, Cecelia Carey, Stephanie Carey, Rachel Hatcher, Kelly Bellinger, Kristen Campbell, Bambie Juarez and Angela Hill; brothers, Zachary Carey, Jonathan Carey and Shawn Harrison; grandparents, Helen Schaefer of St. Philip and Charles Jerry and Maria Carey of Evansville; aunts, Linda Inman of Owensboro, Ky., and Lia Childs of Evansville; uncles, Louis Joseph Schaefer of Evansville and Blake Schaefer of Elberfeld, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Jacqueline.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Eddie Adcock; her grandfather, Louis H. Schaefer; and an aunt, Debbie Rivas.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at St. Philip Catholic Church, Deacon Joe Stofleth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at St. Philip Catholic Church. Pierre Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.
