Travis F. Welch, age 83 passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Bloomer, Wisconsin. He was born on December 30, 1934 in Gilman to Floyd Welch and Beatrice (Romfoe) Welch. He married Jeanette Buchner on December 14, 1974 in Chippewa Falls. Travis served in the US Army from 1957 – 1963 and worked as a coin operated machine repairman for Northwest Coin for over 45 years. He had a great sense of humor and liked socializing with customers and friends. He enjoyed watching sports but especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette of Cornell; daughters: Bobbi Jo (Royce Abbuehl) Kiblen of Holcombe and Kelly Jo (Jay) Sippy of Bloomer; 3 grandsons: Michael Lee Kendall, Carter Welch and Ethan Sippy; numerous other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Geraldine Savasta and Betty Savasta; mother and father-in-law: Marie and Wallace Buchner

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation before the service from 4:00 – 7:00. Interment will be in the Cleveland Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
