UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN

Marvin L. Crawford, of Williamsport, died peacefully Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. He was a son of the late Marvin F. and Jean L. (Bordy) Crawford.

Marvin was a 1966 graduate of Williamsport High School and enlisted into the United States Army where he served during Vietnam. He was a truck driver for DHL and a team leader/foreman at Grummans, LLV Division. He was a member of Pine Street United Methodist Church. Marv was a member of the VFW-Duboistown #7863, Post #1 American Legion and DAV #27. He enjoyed drinking coffee, SOCIALIZING, and talking on the phone. He was an avid car fan attending car shows in Carlisle every year and refurbishing his 1965 Mustang.

Surviving are a daughter, Vanessa A. Barr (Shawn) of Ashland, Ohio; two grandchildren a sister, Betty Crawford of Williamsport, and wife Joyce (Williams) Crawford of Williamsport.

In keeping with his wishes a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap national Cemetery.
