Kari Kaitlinne Nichols- Powers, 24, and unborn infant daughter, Guinevere Kaise Powers, of Greenville, went to be with their Lord and Savior on June 8, 2017. There will be a visitation on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Kari was born on January 26, 1993 in Greenville, Texas to Erin Kavanaugh. Kari graduated from Rains High School in 2011. She was a bubbly, kind, loving daughter that had many nicknames that fit her personalities including, Boo Bear, Kitty and RiRi. She was always up for an adventure and with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh, she brightened up every room she walked in. Kari was a friend to everyone that met her and the first one to reach out to help someone. Heaven has our Angels back. She was a loving wonderful mother to Grayson and devoted to fiancé Keith. She was an amazing daughter that was a free spirit and gypsy soul.
Kari is survived by her son, Grayson Kolt Powers; fiancé, Keith Powers; mother, Erin Kavanaugh-Wagner and husband, Brent; grandmother, Carolyn Kirk; in-laws, Alicia and Jesse Stewart; step-father, Michael Morgan and fiancé, Kathrine Valdez; brothers, Howard Morgan, Preston Morgan, Anthony Earle; sisters, Hillary Earle, Hayley Earle; step-sister, Ashley Wagner-Wilson, sisters-in-law, Angel Stewart, Alicia Powers, Phyllis Thompson; brothers-in-law, James Powers, Kyle Stewart; nieces, Jasmine Earl, Savanna Scruggs; nephews, Glenn Fisher, Taylor Fisher, Nicholas Powers; God-parents, Shawn and Melissa Earle; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Terence Kavanaugh.
