Gordon Jesse Holmes

Gordon passed away peacefully at home, on May 5, 2018. He was born on May 7, 1937 in Kanesville to Jesse and Hattie Venstra Holmes. He grew up on a farm and graduated from Weber High School.

Gordon married Lois Higgs, together they had 3 children: Becky Price, Sandy Holmes, and Wendy Holmes. They later divorced. Gordon then had a son, Anthony Gordon Holmes. Gordon married Judy Faye Stoor on Aug 25, 1994. They were married for almost 24 years until his passing.

Gordon loved to go camping, fishing and spending time gardening. He also loved spending time with his dog Gypsy. Gordon was a strong yet gentle man with a great sense of humor.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Becky (Chris), Sandy, Wendy (Charles Parker), Anthony; 2 sisters: Dolores Weis (Roland), Ellen Bain; 2 step children: Kris (Jeff) Shugars and Joe (Barb) Takacs; 3 grandchildren; Brook (Charlee) Price, Kalob Holmes, Jake Baker and 3 great-grandchild, Zander Price, Oakley Baker and Lakyn Baker. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Phyllis Imel.

The family would like to thank Ron and Margi Stoor for all their love and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
