Born Jan. 9. 2018, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Harry Herbert Headlee and Lucy(Coers)Headlee Kuhn and Andrew Jacob Kuhn.
She married Thomas G. Clawson on May 18, 1943, and he passed away Dec. 3, 1994.
Survivors include four children, Michell(Bill)Smith-Horne, of Fort Collins, colorado, Lori Frazier-Haley, of Greenwood, Mark(Jenny)Clawson, of Shelbyville, and Christopher(Pamela) Clawson, of Indianapolis; two nieces, Sandra Sue Blessing, of cincinnati, Ohio, and Brenda Houston, of Homer; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildre.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; two brothers, Edwin Earl Kuhn and Bernard Kuhn; and sons-in-law, Danny Haley and David Smith.
Mrs. Clawson was a lifetime resident of this area, and graduated from Manilla High School in 1937.
She had been employed as a postal clerk at Manilla Post Office for 25 years, retiring in 1983.
She had attended Shelbyville Community Church, and was a longtime member of the Worldwide Church of God.
Edna enjoyed cooking, dancing with her husband, Tommy, attending church, her flower garden, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Manilla Cemetery in Manilla.
