Clayton W. Baker, Sr., age 69, of Bradner, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home. He was born on August 4, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lawrence & Vera (Grover) Baker, Sr. Clayton married Donna Shultz on November 8, 1969 at the Latter Day Saints Church in Bradner, Ohio.

Surviving Clayton is his loving wife of 48 years, Donna; son, Clayton (Melanie) Baker, Jr. of Bowling Green; daughter, Cindy (Phil) Tennison of Risingsun; brothers, Clarence (Pam) Baker of Findlay, James (Shirley) Baker of Cygnet; sisters, Dianne (Rich) McClellan of Bloomdale, Sharon (Sam) Peavler of McComb, Kathy (Ben) Vanscoder of Portage, Melissa (John) Mettler of North Baltimore, Candy (Dave) Greeno of Arlington, Linda (Paul) Barfell of Findlay; grandchildren, James Baker, Ashley Baker, Stephanie (Dakota) Wendt, Kelsey Tennison, Cody Tennison; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Nataleighann, Miranda, Mason, Levi, Beau, and soon to be born, JJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Vera; brothers, Lawrence Baker, Jr., John Baker; and sisters, Darlene Drager, & Janie Baker.

Clayton served his country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War, and then worked as a Press Operator at Werk-Brau Co., Inc in Findlay for many years. He was a Life Member of the AMVETS Post #21 in Findlay, a former member of the Albert Bowe American Legion Post #338 in Bradner, and enjoyed tinkering around the house and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received for a Memorial Visitation from 2-5 PM on Wednesday (May 16, 2018) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 5PM, and Military Honors will be performed by the Wood County Military Detail.
