Ruth "Patti" May Brimley Coffin

Patti Coffin, a native of Salt Lake City, passed away at Westland House. A long-time resident of Pacific Grove, she was a bookkeeper for over forty years. Patti enjoyed a long and active membership in the Order of Eastern Star. When her children were growing up, she was also very involved in Job's Daughters, DeMolay and PTA.

Patti is survived by: her children; her grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and so many great-greats that they're hard to keep track of and Aunt Dot's children and grandchildren. She also leaves behind her new best friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Ed Coffin; her son, David Coffin; her parents, Nellie Brimley of Pacific Grove and Wilford Brimley of Salt Lake City and her siblings, Dorothy Todd and Donald Brimley.

Graveside services will be held this Monday, May 14 at 11:00 at El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove. A Celebration of Life gathering for Patti will be announced. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sally Griffin Senior Living Center/Meals on Wheels, 700 Jewell Ave., Pacific Grove, 93950 or the SPCA of Monterey, PO Box 3058, Monterey, 93942.
