*** Henry was the author of the book 'Records of the Family of Rufus Perkins' .
And I have an obituary for him published in Rutland, Vermont where his brother Arthur W Perkins was the mayor. His obituary is interesting and I will try to send a copy.
I haven't read the book yet but he comes from a long line of Perkins that lived in Vermont and he is the 5th great grandson of "Quartermaster" John Perkins (1609-1686) and the 6th great grandson of John Perkins (1583-1654) who came to the Massachusetts Bay colony from England with John Winthrorp in Feb 1631 and in May 1631 moved to Ipswich, Massachusetts with Winthrop.
