Sandra Craig Larsen passed away May 7, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She had lived in Houston since 1957. She born in Beaumont, Texas on February 6, 1938 to Lelland J. Craig and Bess Holleman Craig. Sandra grew up in Huntsville, Texas and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.B.A. degree in 1957. Immediately upon graduation, she was employed in Houston at Humble Oil & Refining Company as a legal secretary for four years; Great Southern Life Insurance Company as a brokerage secretary for six years and Arnold, White & Durkee (now Howrey L.L.P.) as a legal secretary for 28 years. Sandra was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston. She is survived by her beloved sister, Carolyn Craig Stewart, and husband Edward Mercado. Also survived by her daughter, Karen Larsen Sweeney and husband Royce Newman; three grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Sweeney, Sarah Catherine Sweeney and William Matthew Sweeney; niece, Allison Stewart, nephew, Thomas Stewart, and by many loving cousins and their families. A memorial prayer service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079 on May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Heart Institute, P.O.
