Mrs. Louise B. Wood, age 73, of Hiram, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Wood was born on February 17, 1945, in Key West, FL, to parents, the late Mr. Albert Eugene and Mrs. Myrtle Lowery Boudreaux.
Mrs. Wood was a loving mother and a devoted homemaker. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, especially in an RV. She enjoyed riding her bicycle and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Wood will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Jerry D. Wood; daughter, Mrs. Michelle Lawson; son, Mr. Kevin Wood; sisters, Mrs. Eva Jean Anderson and Mrs. Marleen Cochran. Many other beloved relatives and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her three children, Alan Mercer, Tina Alvis, Harvey Mercer; siblings, George Boudreaux, Harold Boudreaux and Doris Meadows.
A private graveside burial for Mrs. Wood will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 2 PM, at Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica, GA.
A Celebration of Life to honor Mrs. Wood's memory will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 4 PM, in the Chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home.
