Gladys Hanstedt, 87, died unexpectedly Monday, May 17, 2010 at home. She was born July 8, 1922 in Morgan, WI to the late Frank and Josephine (Lardinois) Havlik. On January 18, 1941, Gladys married Robert Hanstedt. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1984. She was employed by Kresge's Department Store for 38 years, retiring in 1987. Gladys was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Green Bay, where she was a member of the Rachael Circle and the Women of the Church. Survivors include two daughters: Shirley and David Rose, Omaha, NE., Cheryl and David Bull, Green Bay; one granddaughter, Cynthia and Tae Choi, Chandler, AZ.; great-grandson, Evan Choi; nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives. In addition to her husband, Gladys was preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas Rose; two brothers, Ray Havlik and Frank Havlik; sister-in-law, Alma Havlik; nephew, Frank Havlik Jr. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday, May 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 South Madison Street. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Burial will take place at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Shirley and Leon Havlik, Marilyn and Rob Blazejewski, Holly Shiller, Pam Anderson and Pat Nitka for all their care and concern.
