Rodney Paul Vaughn, 42, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
He was born on June 8, 1965, in Logan, W.Va., to Michael Vaughn and Carolyn Sue (Saunders). On June 10, 1989, he married Deborah Radcliff and she survives. Rodney was a graduate of the Harrisburg High School Class of 1983, and was a member in good standing of the APA Pool League.
Rodney leaves behind his loving wife, Debbie of Harrisburg; his parents, Carolyn Vaughn of Port Orange, Fla. and Michael (Diana) Vaughn of Simpson; sister, Angela (Santiago) Wallace of Orange City, Fla.; mother-in-law, Joy Gibbs; three nieces, Clarice Cole, Isla and Avery Wallace, all of Florida; two aunts, Cathy (Steve) Gilbert of Harrisburg and Marcha (Jim) Smith of Chatham; four uncles, William (Vickie) Vaughn of Harrisburg, Ronald (Debbie) Jones of Florida, Lucky Jones of Logan, W.Va. and Larry D. Brown of Logan, W.Va.; cousins, Steven Gilbert, Casey Mitchell, Daydra Waide, Cory and Colton Vaughn, Jamie Smith, Bridget Smith; and his loving dog, Lari Dale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
