John, who was known as Jack, was born on October 15, 1937 in Bayonne, New Jersey. He also lived in Bricktown, NJ, San Jose, CA, and moved to Texas in 1997.
In 1959, Jack married his teenage sweetheart, Margaret, whom he adored and was married to for 59 years. He was a dedicated husband and father of four sons, had a devotion to the Catholic Church and to the Blessed Mother, and he attended Santa Rosa in Andice.
Jack had a quick wit and could easily make those around him laugh. He had a successful career at IBM in financial planning for 31 years. Jack loved to play sports, go on amusement park water rides, and was a big fan of the NY Jets and the NY/SF Giants.
He loved to travel and cruise around the world with Marge, family, and friends. His favorite place to visit was Venice, Italy. He turned that love into a hobby and became a travel agent and just celebrated his 80th Birthday on a family cruise.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marie Manley, and his bother, Thomas Manley. He is survived by his wife Margaret; four sons: John and wife Robin, Kevin, Jeffrey and husband Jusak Yang Bernhard, and Scott and wife Julie; his sister-in-law, Barbara Manley and her family; his cousin, Ed; four grandchildren: Lillian, Sarah, Travis and William; and four great-grandchildren: Carson, Kylie, Corin and Kellan.
Jack will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
