A celebration of life for JoAnn E. Butler, 71, of Coos Bay will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 12 at the First Baptist Church, 1140 S. 10th St. in Coos Bay. Please come and join us. We will be supplying sandwiches and drinks. Please bring a dessert, if you know what JoAnn's favorite was, please bring that, if not, any dessert will do. A private urnside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 63060 Millington Frontage Road in Coos Bay.
JoAnn was born Feb. 17, 1947 at the Hamilton Air Force Base in California. She passed away in great comfort April 14, 2018 at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Roseburg.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Butler of Coos Bay; sons, Matt and Kelley Butler of Coquille, and Tim Butler and Alisha of Coos Bay; grandson, Mark Minter of Roseburg; granddaughter, Jenn Minter of Portland; sisters, Ramona Menzenberg of Springfield, and Sharon Reiber of Springfield; brother, Mike Reiber of Coos Bay; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Reiber; father, Orville Glenn Reiber; and brother, Tommy Reiber.
