James L. Burris. They were married sixty years.
She worked at Doyle’s Department Store, Kentucky Pants and spent thirty years as a child care provider.
She had been a Sunday school teacher for many years and was active in several gospel singing groups.
Survivors:
Her husband; one daughter: Debbie Lowe (Danny); one son: Jeff Burris (Martha); five grandchildren: Angie Minnix (Ben), Jonathan Lowe, Brooke Christmas (Fiancé Michael), Brittany Burris (Chad) and Tanner Burris; seven great grandchildren: Ashton Burris, Kaylee Eaton, Paxton Minnix, Luke Minnix, Ayden Christmas, Chayli Matthews and Daxton Matthews; two brothers: Ray Hodge and Wayne Hodge; two sisters: JoAnne Bybee and Sharon Carole; and a host of extended family members and friends.
