From the Norfolk County (Mass.) Journal, Sept. 27, 1862:
The Killed in Capt. King's Company
[For the following biographies of the martyred dead of the 35th regiment, from this city (with one exception), we are indebted to Franklin Williams, Esq. Mr. Williams contributed a touching article of farewell to Capt. King's company, when it left our city, which our readers will doubtless call to mind.]
Chas. T. Wenborn, was a native of London, England, and a piano forte maker, in the employ of Chickering & Sons. Though young, he was of excellent character, industrious and faithful. He was 19 years old, and single. His shopmates had some degree of pity, when he enlisted, that one so promising should ever be food for powder.
