Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She served faithfully at First Baptist Church of Grandview, where she was a former member. She enjoyed serving in her church in a variety of ways such as; WMU Director, Vacation Bible School leader, and ESL volunteer. Carol was a long time member of the Berean Class at First Baptist. Carol was loved by her family and was especially devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Schreiner, Sr.; her parents, Charlie and Fern Overman; her sisters Lenora Williams, Lois Campbell, and Alma Williams. She is survived by her children; Judy Carnine of Indianapolis, Indiana; Karen Prieto of Overland Park, Kansas; Howard Schreiner, Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas; and Susan Julo (Richard Julo) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Carol is survived by her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, dear friend, Frankie Spena and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at South Haven Baptist Church in Belton, Missouri on May 12 at 3:00 with a visitation at 2:00. Interment will follow at Longview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to City Union Mission, Kansas City Missouri or South Haven Baptist Church, Belton, Missouri.
