Glen Dale Brown, 92, of Norman, OK, passed away May 8, 2018. He was born April 1, 1926 to Frank and Tula Brown in Paden, OK. Glen served 8 years in the US Army where he received an honorable discharge. After the military he began working at Tinker Air Force Base, where he retired after 38 years of service as a supply clerk. Glen was very active in the Knights of Columbus at church. He enjoyed gardening, building things and working outside. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Celia Brown; son, Fred Brown; daughter, Olivia Brown and fiance Martin Boyd; grandchildren, Jennifer Mullins and husband, Brandon, Nathan Brown and wife, Nikki, Shannon Moore, and Sherri Blackowl and husband, Thomas; great-grandchildren, Natlie Brown, Seth Moore, Brianna Clements, Chelsea Blackowl, McKenzie Blackowl, and Faith Blackowl; great great-granddaughter, Paislee Combs. He is preceded in death by his son, Glen Dean Brown; and grandson-in-law, Sidney Moore. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, May 11, 2018, at the St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
