Angelina L. Jones, 86, of Piqua, died on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 7:25 am in Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Manhattan, New York on April 5, 1919 to the late Joseph and Katherine Agoglia Sagarese. She married Norman "Bubby" Jones on July 3, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York; he preceded her in death on February 7, 1996.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward N. "Ted" and Keitha Jones of Piqua. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Sagarese, and Walter Sagarese, and a sister, Marie Beall.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 10:00 am in St. Mary Catholic church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Grilliot as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home where a prayer service will be conducted at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Broadway, Piqua, OH 45356.
