Mary was the second wife of Jesse Wise (1834-1901). They were married on November 12, 1884 in Missouri or Kansas. Mary was the daughter of William Wilson Kinnison and Frances "Fannie" (DeHaven) Kinnison (1815-1892). Mary was born in Indiana. Her parents were married in Jackson County, Ohio, moved to Indiana, then to Buckyeye, Stephenson County, Illinois by 1850, then to Nodaway County, Missouri by 1870 and to then to Rush County, Kansas by 1885. Mary was also living with her new husband, Jesse Wise, by 1885 in Rush County, Kansas. In 1900, she says she had 4 children, 2 living. Mary was married first in Stephenson County, Illinois about 1858 to Henry S. Hutchinson (1831-1865). They had a daughter, Mary E. Hutchinson in 1859. Henry was killed in action during the Civil War. He fought in the same regiment as Mary's brother, Cyrus J. Kinnison. On September 26, 1869, Mary married John Lynch in Andrew County, Missouri. John and Mary had a least one child, Daisy Lynch (1880-1890), born October of 1880 in Missouri, who was living with Jesse Wise and Mary in 1885 in Rush County, Kansas. Mary was the stepmother of seven of Jesse Wise's children including: Nancy Jane, Lydia Elizabeth, William Grant, Viola Alice, Mary Etta, Amanda Arminta and Samuel Hiram Wise.
