He was born May 25, 1938, in Gilman, IL, to the late Robert & Elizabeth (Roush) Chase. He married Nancy (Strong) Kemple, August 21, 1983; she survives.
He served in the United States Army from 1956-1960. He was a Lifetime member of the VFW & the Otterbein American Legion Martin Kennedy Post #125.
He worked for Luehrs' Ideal Rides.
Denny loved to give & receive nothing back. He loved his Grandkids & Great-Grandkids & watching TV.
Surviving with his Wife, Nancy, Otterbein, are 2 Sons, Tom Kemple, Lafayette & Tim Kemple (Amy) , Attica, 4 Grandchildren, Angie, Texas, Brandon & Jenny, Mulberry, Blake & Christy, Crawfordsville & Cassidy, Williamsport, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Special Grandkids, Bella & Jacob, 3 Sisters, Jean Miler (Bernie) , Pontiac, IL, Joan Stemke, Chatsworth, IL & his Twin Sister, Dot Gerhart (Bruce), Piper City, IL.
He is preceded death by 3 Sons, Daric, Darwin & Dennis, Jr., a Daughter-in-Law, Sandy Kemple & a Sister.
Graveside Services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Tippecanoe Memory Garden, West Lafayette, with Nathan Sanders officiating. Military Honors by Otterbein American Legion Martin Kennedy Post #125. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein American Legion Martin Kennedy Post #125, PO Box 82, Otterbein, IN 47970.
