Lorene Northcutt Martin, 81, of Kirbyville died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 10, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
A native of Coalgate, OK, she was a former resident of California where she was a Special Needs School Teacher for 30 years, later moving to Oklahoma and becoming a nurse working in a nursing home in Meeker, OK. She had lived in Kirbyville for 2 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Martin of Kirbyville; sons, Don Grivette of Wichita, KS; John Grivette of Modesto, CA; and Everette Greatorex of Wichita, KS; step-children, Gary Martin of Jasper, TX; Rhonda Sue Cline and James of Port Arthur, TX; Robin Renee Mallett and Cory of Houston; and Vanessa Anthony of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Betty Northcutt of Meeker, OK; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
