John B. Garza III, 50, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, in Louisiana. He was a contractor and was rebuilding homes there at the time. John was born Feb. 28, 1956 to Juan and Juanita Garza.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Garza, and his brother, Oscar Garza.
John is survived by his wife, Glenda M. Garza; children, Israel Garza, Jeremy Garza and fiance, Nicole, John Garza IV and wife, Becky, Julia G. Carillo and husband, James, Matt Garza, Krystle Garza, Ryan Garza, Devin Ortiz, and Rudy Ortiz; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jimmie, Tony, Samuel, David, Freddie, and Joe Garza; and sister, Theresa Garza.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Angeles Crest Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. also at Angeles Crest Funeral Home, 722 Grillo Way in Rosenberg. Interment will be in San Gabriel Cemetery in Richmond. Pallbearers are his brothers, Jimmie, Tony, Samuel, David, Freddie, and Joe Garza.
