She was a member of Second Street Church of Christ, an avid Braves and Lady Vols fan and loved to dance. After graduating from Campbellsville High School she spent 50 years as a beautician.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her father, Winfred Brinkley Helton.
She is survived by three sons, Darrell, Derrick and Jeff Garrett, his mother, Doris Estelle Hindman Helton, 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
